The state maps in QuickMap should be designed more like the SDRTT map, which provided more details about each ramp and transition. QuickMap does not have a link to the current CHP activity in chronological order, which was a useful feature in the SDRTT map. The app only provides four colors to indicate traffic conditions, and users have to guess what each color means and where the threshold between them lies. QuickMap is not as useful as the old San Diego real-time traffic report (SDRTT), which provided more detailed information, such as actual freeway speeds and real-time data from freeway sensors.
